Pawan Bhatta, the husband of 17-year-old Samjhana Bhatta, who was found dead in Beldandi, Kanchanpur, has been sent to jail for pre-trial detention. The Kanchanpur District Court ordered this in connection to the suicide abetment case filed by Samjhana's family. Samjhana's father-in-law and sister-in-law were released on bail of NRs. 100,000 each, while her mother-in-law was released on a regular date. Samjhana was found dead at home on August 2.
